Robertsbridge Enterprise Group was set up in late 2005 with the single aim of promoting business and enterprise in the village and the surrounding area so that a more sustainable local economy could be created.It has worked in concert with other like minded organisations, particularly the Parish Council and the District Council, through the local councillor, Sue Prochak.

Over 600 years of hospitality in historic Robertsbridge. Built in the closing years of the 14th century, this medieval Wealden Hall on the main road from Hastings to London has sheltered and refreshed travellers for 6 centuries. As a public house, the Seven Stars Inn sells Harvey's Real Ales, made locally in Sussex and serves real Sussex food.
The Seven Stars Inn is one of the oldest buildings in the village, and is listed by English Heritage. Of course any building of such antiquity has a reputation for being haunted, and the Seven Stars has its own collection of rumoured spirits.
