Robertsbridge Enterprise Group was set up in late 2005 with the single aim of promoting business and enterprise in the village and the surrounding area so that a more sustainable local economy could be created.It has worked in concert with other like minded organisations, particularly the Parish Council and the District Council, through the local councillor, Sue Prochak.

Membership
Membership of the Robertsbridge Enterprise Group is open to all businesses of whatever size or type, who operate out of the Robertsbridge area. Membership at present only costs £10 per year and for that you can take advantage of such things as:• listing in the business directory on this website
• go to the monthly business breakfasts (last Wednesday of each month at the Seven Stars, starting at 7.15am - cost £5)
• use the REG A-boards to advertise your business or event
• use the REG cardboard and paper recycling facility at the rear of Culverwells
• tap into the REG help and advice service, courtesy of REG members
• use REG as a lobbying force for matters of common concern
• join in the monthly evening business meetings (first Wednesday of each month at the Darvell Community, starting at 7.30pm)
